battle of the bands is back at bar hannah!!
the winner gets an all expenses paid trip to new york!
the competition will feature a number of heats, then a few semi finals before the grand final

the first battle took place in 2003-2004 and was a massive success. a year long search through some of the best bands in liverpool to find the eventual winner. our grand final in march that year saw the whole of bar hannah transformed into one big live venue with hospitality and vip areas. after a full day's worth of performances the winner was announced to a champagne reception. our first prize was the best prize of any battle of the bands competition in the city. the lucky winners "the zuprowski connection" were flown out to new york for four days to play a few gigs in the big apple. click here to view pictures from their trip
last year we ran the competition again with great success, the finalists were "the sound", "trip", "castle wasabi", and eventual winners "the welcome".
this year we are intending on making it bigger and better. we have a new organiser and will be organising runner's up prizes too.
